• Clings to threads and will not shred or tear on assembly
• Not compatible with plastic pipe or valve components other than PTFE, halogens, freon, pure oxygen, ozone, hydrazine, nitrogen dioxide, high concentrations of strong acids or bases, food, cosmetic, drug, or water systems for human consumption, and vacuum systems where any hydrocarbon outgassing will affect performance
